Ludricrous -- absurd; laughable (attempting to overthrow our evil empire is ludricrous)

 

Vehemence -- intensity or forcefulness of expression.  (Kayla attacked the mashed potatos with animalistic vehemence.)

 

Macerate -- become soft or disintegrate as a result of excessive soaking.  (the tissue mascerated in the water. Yeah that's a boring example.  In fact, I've never actually used that word.)

 

Macabre -- (pronounced Muh-kob) shockingly repellent; inspiring horror. (Macabre tales Julie in the third grade pagent.)

 

Plethora  -- extreme excess; a lot.  (I vacantly stared at the plethora of dead bodies where I walked...)
